WOODEN HANDLES – 2015

Stanley 750 chisels have been launch in 1930 and produced during alsmost 40 years.

Rarely seen nowadays, socketed handles are remarkably durable since repeated mallet blows serve only to tighten the socket-and-tenon assembly.

The wooden handles I’ve made by using Sycamore, Oak, Amaranth, Walnut, Wenge, Ziricot, Palissander, Padouk, are shaped to fit in the hand.

The wooden diversity offer to give a par­ticular identity and thus mix aesthetic and functionnality.
